Makis Studios is a small, friendly, family run complex set in the heart of the beautiful village of Skala, on the South East coast of Kefalonia.
The studios are situated just off the main road and stand in beautiful gardens making them both private and peaceful.
Yet, they are only a 500 meter stroll to the long sandy beach and only a short walk to restaurants, tavernas, bars and shops.
Makis Studios is situated 13 km from Poros Port and 40 km from Argostoli. Bars, supermarkets and traditional taverns can be found within 200 metres. Kefalonia International Airport is 37 km from the property.
We had a lovely relaxing stay at these studios. Everything was spotless and well kept. Breakfast at the pool bar was brilliant and the family were lovely.
The pool was good and no problem with sunbeds. Very peaceful considering you are only a few minutes from resort centre. A very friendly atmosphere amongst the guests who were all british. We would recommend the Makis studios to anyone. eee177 - September 2017 - TripAdvisor
My boyfriend and I stayed at Makis Studiis for two weeks and had a wonderful holiday.
The apartments are well located- 5min stroll to a great range of bars and tavernas as well as the beach.
The whole place is exceptionally clean. Our room was thoroughly cleaned daily. The pool area was lovely and quiet, and always enough sun beds. A very good standard of accommodation for the price!! Bethan H - August 2017 - TripAdvisor
Just returned from a week in Skala at Makis Studios. I found the apartment very clean it was the usual greek basic but very adequate for our needs.
It was a very quiet peaceful location. Very close to shops and restaurants a bit further to beach but I prefer accommodation like this as its not as far to stagger back after enjoying the delicious local wine!
